Chances are that if you are reading this page, you have too much time on your hands or clicked on it out of sympathy.
While I have you here, let me tell you some personal details. My name is Zach Spedden and, in addition to being a graduate student at Loyola University Maryland, I cover Minor League Baseball on a freelance basis. Most of my work can be read on the Hagerstown Suns Fan Club Blog, which I co-founded in 2009, and The Nats Blog, where I am a weekly contributor. However, I hope my byline appears in more publications/websites in the near future.
This blog will include stories on Minor League Baseball, but will also feature some of my other interests, mainly literature. My goal is to blend blogging and traditional journalism by publishing everything from aggregation to original features that do not fit on my other sites.
Some more personal details: I currently reside in Hagerstown (Maryland), graduated with a Bachelors in Journalism in The Digital Age from UMass Amherst, have an Associate Degree from Hagerstown Community College, and was homeschooled through the eighth grade.
Thank you for visiting!
